Fett practically has no lines in the two movies he appears (4 lines, 5 total sentences) but somehow gives off an air of mysterious invincibility, even though he meets his fate in the strangest of ways, especially for being such a “cool” character. Bane, on the other hand, would be a very popular addition since he was considered the de facto leading bounty hunter during the Clone Wars due to the death of Boba’s father, Jango Fett.īoba Fett’s time in Star Wars lore is that of legend. IG-88 would be an easy addition as fans have already seen an IG in season one of The Mandalorian. Other hunters though to possibly be making an appearance would be IG-88, Embo, and Cad Bane. Dengar was one of the bounty hunters that Darth Vader hired to capture Han Solo.
The duo first became popular in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back so it would make sense to see the pair. Popular opinion has the bounty hunters Dengar and Bossk as two who’d appear. But which old friends could Boba Fett lean on? While not much is known about the new Fett series, it is assumed that with Fett taking the throne that he will be building his own criminal organization similar to Jabba’s, meaning he will need help from some friends. Boba makes short work of Fortuna, thus taking Bib’s place on the throne with Fennec Shand standing by his side. Boba’s arrival at Jabba’s Palace is met with surprise by Bib Fortuna, who had been wearing Jabba’s crown for a long time. All these years later we find out that Boba did survive and now he is back look to take what he feels is his.
It was here that Boba met his demise in Return of the Jedi when Han Solo accidentally set off Fett’s rocket pack, sending Boba into the waiting mouth of the sarlacc in his pit. When we last saw our favorite bounty hunter at the end of The Mandalorian season 2 finale, Boba Fett was making his presence known at Jabba’s Palace.
